Three partners carry out a new European Social Fund project

The European Social Fund project: “Jämställt-hela tiden” (“For Ever Equal”), was launched in February. The Dalarna County Council is in charge of the project with the Hedemora business community and the Minerva Foundation as collaborating partners. The idea behind the project is to raise the level of awareness of the importance of gender equality for growth and development.

The project commences with an analysis and planning phase. Among other activities, surveys and interviews will be carried out in order to chart the target groups’ needs for competence development and training. One of the many interesting issues to be dealt with in the project is how Dalarna should solve the problem of partial unemployment among firemen and nursing staff. In November 2016, the implementation phase, will commence. Results derived from the analysis phase will govern the activities of the target groups.
