On 29 January, an interesting “working” breakfast meeting was held at the Galaxen hotel in Borlänge. Seventy-five companies took part in the meeting. Stuart hosted the breakfast and gave an interesting lecture. Minerva’s president also participated and took the opportunity to make new contacts. On January 21, Norlin & Partners arranged an afternoon of workshops for their clients. One of the participants was a representative from the Minerva Foundation. The programme consisted of various workshops based on the concepts of the group, the individual and the organisation. Maria Norlin and her colleagues took up various cases, which the participants were asked to study in depth. Some of the interesting questions discussed during the session were: -What should a boss who has lost control over his/her workgroup do? -Broken lines of communication and lack of respect. -How can a company maintain the positive changes achieved for improved profitability when the consultants have gone home? -How can I, as a company manager, constantly bring out my strong points? -How can I, as a manager, find time for recovery and reflection? There are numerous answers to these important questions. As representatives from the Minerva Foundation, we were able to make a contribution by reporting on the ISO 9001 certificate awarded to our Mentoring Programme.
